Time Flies...

when the orders are coming in fast and furious and your creative juices are flowing a mile a minute at the same time.

I can focus on an order, but then I'm also thinking-how can I enhance this, how am I going to photograph it, is the client going to like it?!  

But then I have to step back and focus on the feeling of crocheting-being in my creative space and the joy it brings. So, time slips by and I still create.

I appreciated this gift during the pandemic; when I could slip into my zone and focus on the process instead of the uncertainty of the time. Then fast forward to health set backs, but then the healing nature of losing myself in the stitches, rows, and finally a finished piece. That spark of wonder that comes when I'm done. I created that? Yes, I did! Now let's get started on the next piece.

Time marches on but if I need to feel calm, joy, accomplished in the craziness that surrounds us; I have crochet.
